Path of Exile developers talk about clear speed

Path of Exile was launched on October 23, 2013 with the latest expansion package Scourge. Scourge is one of the many extensions in Path of Exile, with a built-in timer to process its content. Once in, the timer will start, which naturally promotes a style of play that quickly moves through the area while destroying as many monsters as possible in a short time. This is the need for a clear speed element. Players tend to optimize their construction around damage, mobility, and survivability in order to play the best role in the game.

Of course, the clear speed element is not unique to Path of Exile. This was weakened in the release of Scourge, and GGG seized the opportunity to make new party skills to compensate for Links. These are targeted buffs that a player can cast on friendly targets, and the player can get POE Currency more quickly.

As a rule of thumb, party games should never be more dynamic than single-player games, because it involves POE Currency and more difficult balancing choices. And Path of Exile Scourge has become a way for GGG to solve some of the problems in Expedition, and it also creates an exciting new environment for everyone, whether it is timed or not.
