This is a busy December for Path of Exile, with six new and returning events coming into the game in a limited time. The first event brought major changes to the game's map content. Therefore, players need to activate their map equipment and prepare for Atlas Invasion.Atlas Invasion lasts for 10 days, starting on December 24 at 3 p.m. Eastern time and 12 p.m. Pacific time and ending on January 2 at 3 p.m. Eastern time and 12 p.m. Pacific time.

Developer Grinding Gear Games described Atlas Invasion as "more like a normal Path of Exile league" compared to the events before this month. During the event, each area is guaranteed to POE Currency Buy. Each of these Boss is also guaranteed to drop at least one unique POE Currency.

The top five players in each game Ascendancy Classes will get one Demigod’s Authority legendary one-handed sword. Swords, like other demigods in the game, increase the size of the player's character.During the event, every player who reaches level 50 will get POE Currency. Each box will contain randomly selected micro-transaction items from two underwater themed sets: the Siren set and the Deepwater set. Each account is limited to one box.

Players who reach a higher level threshold during the event will also enter a random lottery for micro-transaction projects. After the event, the number of each POE Currency is limited. Upgrading multiple characters to each tier will increase the odds of winning.
